Trina

Human Resources

     Trina was born and raised in Dawson Creek and graduated from South Peace Secondary School in 1995. She has been married since 2003 and has 2 wonderful children, a son, Wayde and a daughter, Kortnee, as well as 2 dogs and 1 cat. She enjoys spending her free time doing a little sewing, camping or just hanging out with friends and family. Trina has been the Human Resources Manager at the Dawson Creek Veterinary Clinic since May 2011. She finds the vet clinic to be an amazing place to work. She feels we have a great team of dedicated, fun, caring employees and veterinarians.

Marilyn

Finance

     Marilyn was born in Saskatchewan but moved to Dawson Creek when she was a little girl and has lived here most of her life.  She is married and has 4 children, 10 grandchildren and 1 dog. She has worked for the Dawson Creek Veterinary Clinic since April 2012 and enjoys being around the animals.  She especially loves all the little ones and would take them all home if she could.  Her job is primarily in the Finance department but if, for any reason, a little one needs some tender loving care, she is more than willing to lend a hand.  She enjoys all the friendly staff and finds it a blessing to be able to work with such a great bunch of Doctors and staff.  In her spare time, she enjoys camping, shopping and spending time with her children and families.  Her plan is to stay with the clinic for as long as we will have her and enjoy it every day she can.

Curtis

Promotions and Marketing

     Curtis was born and raised in Langley, BC. He attended Kwantlen University to study public relations in 2003. Curtis has been with the clinic since January, 2013 and has enjoyed learning everything he can about veterinary care. He has two dogs at home, Jack and Jenny, as well as his cat; OC.In his spare time, Curtis enjoys outdoor activities all year round, dinner with friends, and keeping in touch with family. Curtis helps organize clinic events as well as maintaining open communication with all the clients including newsletters, reminders and sharing information through the website and Facebook page.

Nicole

Promotions and Marketing Assistant

Nicole has lived in the Dawson Creek and surrounding area for almost her entire life. She currently resides in the country with her husband, Mike, three teenagers, Matt, Sam, and Cole, three horses, Boots the cat, and Princess the dog. Nicole has always had a passion for animals and started at the clinic in 2014 as the Promotions and Marketing Assistant. She is the girl that calls to remind you when your furry family members are due for an appointment. Nicole is very happy to be at the clinic and enjoys working with such a wonderful staff and knowing that clients and patients are getting the best quality of care and service.

Marketing and Promotions Manager

The Dawson Creek Veterinary Clinic is now hiring a marketing and promotions manager. 

Curtis Boomhower has done an exceptional job in this position for the last five years but has made a decision to move on to new opportunities. We are definitely going to miss him and all he has done for our clinic and our clients.

This position encompasses many different areas including designing and developing advertising and promotional items, organizing clinic events such as our producer seminars, dog wash and pet photos with Santa, maintaining our website and facebook pages, coordinating reminders for our patients for various procedures or treatments such as their vaccines and dewormers.    We are looking for a team player who works well with others, has training and experience with marketing and is competent with computers and social media.
