Registered Veterinary Technician

     Shauna graduated from her RVT course from Fairview in 1998. She has worked as a technician since then. She moved from Fort St. John to start here at the clinic as an RVT in the fall of 2001 and has worked periodically at the clinic since. Shauna is married and needs to take a little extra time to take care of her three wonderful children. Not to forget the two dogs, three cats and three horses that she also takes care of. Amongst her busy schedule Shauna takes pride in caring for the patients she sees as they come through our clinic and the great staff she gets to work with.


Registered Veterinary Technician

     Caitlin was born in Tomslake, BC. She has worked at our clinic since 2011 and always brings a smile and upbeat personality to our clinic atmosphere. Caitlin is now back at the clinic as a Registered Veterinary Technician, upon completeing her two year diploma in animal health technology at Fairview College in Alberta.

     Caitlin is excited to be back at the clinic and putting her knowledge and skills in the animal medical field to good use. Caitlin is both a small animal and large animal technician. She is also a volunteer fire fighter with the Tomslake and District Volunteer Fire Department. When she isn\'t dealing with the heat of the fire or the excitement of clinical requirements. She enjoys horseback riding and anything outdoors. She has several animals of her own including two horses, two cats and a dog but loves all types of animals. Caitlin is excited to meet you and all your beloved pets now and in the future.


Veterinary Nurse

     Samantha is from Port Campbell, Australia where she grew up living on a dairy farm. In 2012 she graduated from the Box Hill Institute in Melbourne as a Veterinary Nurse. She received an award for outstanding achievement in veterinary nursing from the school for the graduating year. She worked in a mixed animal veterinary practice for nine years before deciding to venture to Canada for both work and travel purposes. Sam has been in Canada since March of 2013 and loves every moment of it. In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding, playing netball, soccer, and caring for animals. She is very excited to be part of the team.


Registered Veterinary Technician


Megan was  born and raised in Dawson Creek and grew up with a love for animals both large and small. Megan worked as a large animal vet assistant for a year at the Dawson Creek Veterinary Clinic after graduating high school. She then decided to pursue a career in the field and spent 2 years in Fairwiew's Animal Health Technology program. After completing her practicum at Moore Equine Veterinary Center in Calgary, Megan then spent 2 years working as a tech in a mixed animal practice in Valleyview, AB. In the spring of 2018 Megan decided to move back to Dawson Creek. She is now a small and large animal technician at the clinic and looks forward to meeting you are your pets.


Registered Veterinary Technician

Abigail was born in Dawson Creek and grew up with animals both large and small.  She graduated with distinction in Animal Health Technology from GPRC in Fairview in 2018.  After completing her practicum, Abbey was hired onto the team at our veterinary clinic.  Over the years, Abbey has developed a strong passion for exotic pets.  Her "children" include two bunnies, two geckos, and Daisy the dog.  In the fall, when she is not at work, you will find Abbey bugling in elk or in her deer blind.  With a wide open future, Abbey plans to travel as much as she can to anywhere the wind takes her.  She is ecstatic to start her career as an RVT working with animals of all sizes and species.

Registered Veterinarian Technician

     RVT required to fill a full-time position at our rapidly growing mixed animal practice in Dawson Creek, B.C. We are a progressive, fully computerized mixed animal practice currently with 6 Veterinarians and a great support team. Some areas of special interest in our clinic are dentistry for large and small animals, as well as orthopedic surgery.  All of our RVT’s work alongside our veterinarians in the medical care and treatment of all patients. The successful candidate must have a diploma from an accredited institute in veterinary technician training. A love of animals is a prerequisite for all candidates. We are looking for a friendly, energetic, efficient RVT to become a member of our team, enabling us to continue to grow while maintaining the quality of our customer service and care for our patients.  We offer competitive wages and benefits.
