Our Vet Assistants
Jeneen lives in Progress, BC. She is originally from Pennsylvania and has been living in Dawson Creek since 2010. She raises and shows Clydesdale draft horses. Jeneen is a vet assistant at the clinic and really enjoys meeting new people. She also enjoys working with the vets and learning more about the health and well-being of horses, cattle and other large animals.
Gabby was born in Dawson Creek and raised on a farm in Groundbirch BC. She enjoys barrel racing and chasing cows, camping, quading and hunting. While Gabby works in both our large and small animal departments, she really loves working in the large animal side of things at the clinic, learning as much as she can about horse health. She is excited to be working at the clinic, meeting new people and learning new things.
Lacy joined the clinic in 2019 as a veterinary assistant. Born and raised in Ontario, she moved to Dawson creek in 2014 and fell in love with the town and people. Lacy has had a few different career paths in her life; mechanic, chef and now a veterinary assistant. She believes she has found her true calling in life and absolutely loves working with animals. Lacy plans to pursue and education and career as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Although she doesn’t have any pets of her own just yet, we are all sure she will be adopting sooner than later
Lindsay was born in Kamloops, BC but moved to Dawson Creek at a very young age. She was able to experience growing up in Tomslake, BC on her family’s hobbie farm. She loves being outdoors and her favourite activities are horseback riding and hunting. Lindsay is a certified Equine Assisted Learning facilitator at Equine Edge where she enjoys combining her love of animals with the joy of working with kids. Having three dogs, a cat, and two horses of her own, as well as her experience at Equine Edge, led to her great desire to work at a veterinary clinic. Lindsay started as a kennel attendant at the clinic in 2015. Her experience here has now brought her the knowledge to move into the veterinary assistant position. Her future goal is to enroll in school to become a registered veterinary technician. She is excited to meet all of your four legged family members and continue bringing friendly and quality care to all the patients.
