Terry
Receptionist Terry was born and raised in Dawson Creek and has ties to this city as far back as her Grandparents, whom used to own Spittal’s Meats Butcher Shop. Terry has worked for the Dawson Creek Veterinary Clinic as a receptionist for a total of 10+ years, with a short break in between. She currently has 6 pets; 2 kitties; Swimmy 2 years and Fynn, and 3 dogs; Dakota, Chloe and Jace. Terry enjoys her job at the vet clinic and loves meeting and adding to her other extended family - our clients and their pets. |
Ashley
Receptionist Ashley comes from four generations of Dawson Creek residents and has lived here her whole life. She had the opportunity of growing up around small and large animals as she spent most of her weekends hanging out at her aunt's farm. She got to hang out with all the livestock on the property and she absolutely loved it. Growing up, her family had a wonderful dog named Pepper but that did not stop her from bringing home every stray or injured animal, which she still does today. She started as a small animal receptionist in March of 2014 and loves every minute of it. She is now cross training as a large animal receptionist as well. Ashley especially enjoys working clients, meeting new people, and taking care of their furry family members. Ashley currently has 2 dogs, Sophie and Bruno, and 3 cats, Milo, Annie and Ivy. Outside of work Ashley enjoys spending time with family, camping and fishing. |
Kestyn
Receptionist Kestyn was raised just two hours north of Dawson Creek, in Hudson’s Hope. She grew up on a funny farm and was always very involved with animals. She is now starting a funny farm of her own just outside of town, it includes 4 dogs, 3 horses, 2 buttonquail and it is sure to grow! Kestyn was in many sports growing up including High School Rodeo and she also competed in figure skating, lots of which the competitions for both were in Dawson Creek. She moved to Dawson Creek in May of 2017 and started working at the Clinic in the beginning of 2018. She is both a Large and Small animal Receptionist at our Clinic and has recently begun training as a Vet Assistant. She is learning many new things every day and looks forward to continuously learning more! |
Sarah
Receptionist Sarah was born in raised in Calgary, AB. She had the privilege of growing up around both small and large animals, volunteering with dogs and riding horses most of her childhood Sarah has always had a passion for animals. She moved to Dawson Creek in the fall of 2019 with her significant other. She has a 10 year old Border Collie, American Bulldog cross Reno, who comes to work with her, a 12 year old Toy Poodle Miss Maddie, two Quarter Horses Wyatt (18 years old) and Cheyenne (12 years old). Sarah has loved getting to know more folks in the community and becoming apart of the Dawson Creek Vet Clinic Family. Outside of work she loves spending time with family, traveling and being with her animals. |
Erin
Large Animal Receptionist Erin was born in Fort St John and was raised on a cattle ranch on the Halfway River. She grew up on the back of a horse and has bred and raised Quarter Horses for many years. Erin moved to the Dawson Creek area in 1996 and started at the Dawson Creek Vet Clinic in the spring 2008 as a Vet Assistant. In the fall of 2010 she took over the Large Animal reception position. She, enjoys riding horses, camping, fishing and hunting and anything outdoors Erin really enjoys working at the Dawson Creek Vet Clinic with all the excellent Veterinarians and staff, as well as assisting clients with all their Large Animal health care needs. |
Holly
Large Animal Receptionist Holly works in both the small and large animal reception as a receptionist. Holly grew up on a mixed farm in western Manitoba and spent most of her youth outdoors riding horseback and participating in the local 4-H Beef and Swine Club. She graduated from the Animal Health Technician Program at Fairview College in 1981 and has worked both in the purebred swine breeding business and as an AHT before coming to Dawson Creek in 1994. Holly worked in the Dawson Creek area as an AHT for 10 years before joining the reception team at Dawson Creek Vet Clinic. Holly enjoys horseback riding, baking bread, fishing, and bird watching. Gardening is really her passion and spring and summer you will find her in her greenhouse, out watering plants, or out walking the trails on their acreage. She shares her life with one hound dog, four barn cats, two horses, and a wonderful husband. |
