Ashley
Receptionist Ashley comes from four generations of Dawson Creek residents and has lived here her whole life. She had the opportunity of growing up around small and large animals as she spent most of her weekends hanging out at her aunt's farm. She got to hang out with all the livestock on the property and she absolutely loved it. Growing up, her family had a wonderful dog named Pepper but that did not stop her from bringing home every stray or injured animal, which she still does today. She started as a small animal receptionist in March of 2014 and loves every minute of it. She is now cross training as a large animal receptionist as well. Ashley especially enjoys working clients, meeting new people, and taking care of their furry family members. Ashley currently has 2 dogs, Sophie and Bruno, and 3 cats, Milo, Annie and Ivy. Outside of work Ashley enjoys spending time with family, camping and fishing. |
Mackenzie
Receptionist Mackenzie grew up in Dawson Creek but was originally born in Vancouver BC. Her family relocated to Dawson Creek and quickly fell in love with the north. Mackenzie's love for animals came at a young age and she had several exotic pets growing up along side her family dog Cocoa. Mackenzie’s hope for the future is to buy a small chunk of property with her husband Dean so they can have a small hobby farm of their own. |

Cassidy
Receptionist Cassidy was born in Brooks AB, but moved to Dawson Creek at a young age. She grew up with several pets in her home, which initially fueled her love for animals. This encouraged her to volunteer at the local animal shelter, where she was able to appreciate animals differently. She did drift away from the animal world for a few years while venturing off to university, but she is happy to have found her way back. She is very excited to have the opportunity of joining the Dawson Creek Veterinary Clinic team, and to see where this journey takes her. In her spare time, Cassidy enjoys reading, hiking, and visiting with friends and family. |

Darci
Receptionist Darci was born in Dawson Creek. Raised in Gundy on a farm with cattle, horses, chickens, dogs and cats. She loved riding horses when she was younger and being on the farm. She left Dawson Creek when she was 18 and moved to the Okanagan where she worked in a grocery store. At the age of 20, she moved to Prince George. At 21 she had her first born son. In 2005 she attended college where she took her long-term care aid and nursing. After 8 years in Prince George, she returned to Dawson Creek where she worked as a long term care aid at the Peace River Heaven just shy of 8 years before they closed it down. She has always enjoyed working with and helping the elderly, individuals with disabilities and animals. In 2008 she had her daughter. She married in 2018 and gained three more children. She is a Grandma to 4 grandchildren who are the loves of her life. She purchased a place out of town on 5 acres. We have three dogs at the moment, and I would love to get some more animals in due time. She is so happy to be starting a new chapter in her life working at the Dawson Creek Veterinary Clinic and to be around all the wonderful loving animals. |
